Go Gold: 17 Ways Girl Scouts Changed Your Community This Year

This year, we honored seventeen amazing Girl Scouts from western Washington at our 2014 Gold Award Gala—along with eight of our sister Girl Scouts from eastern Washington, Oregon and Idaho. Together, these young women dedicated over 2,500 hours to create change in their communities.

From raising money to fight malaria in third world countries to creating a sustainable rain garden in their own backyard, these girls gave it their all to achieve their Gold Award. Read their stories and join us in congratulating these stand-out young women!
